Hurricane Bonnie is coming so hauled
boat out at Lauderdale Marine Center up the New River. Requires
four bridge openings to get there. Took advantage of time to have
keel repaired from Bahamas trek and get bottom work done. |

Saw dolphins swimming around the boat. Shadow jumped in to play

them and
it was
a challenge getting her back aboard before they snacked on her. |

Hurricane Mitch was supposedly no longer
a hurricane, but it hit us with a vengeance. Almost lost L. Moon
to the rocks. Battled nasty seas in the dinghy to get her laced
to the neighbors pilings for the night. |
